Among the many future-forward solutions on display, BroadVision stood out with its rugged outdoor heavy-duty cameras and real-world vision AI technologies built specifically for harsh port environments.
Singapore, Nov 25–26 — TOC Asia 2025 returned to Marina Bay Sands as one of the region’s most influential gatherings for port operators, equipment manufacturers and maritime technology innovators. This year’s event brought together industry leaders from across the global container supply chain to explore the next wave of smart port transformation.
Among the many future-forward solutions on display, BroadVision stood out with its rugged outdoor heavy-duty cameras and real-world vision AI technologies built specifically for harsh port environments.

Built for Real Ports. Proven in Real Conditions.
Ports are unforgiving. Heat, humidity, vibration, oil mist, salt spray — equipment must not only perform, but survive.

Inside BroadVision’s booth, visitors could see this philosophy in action:
- In a transparent water tank, cameras remained fully submerged for extended periods while still streaming crisp, stable HD video.
- When the lens was intentionally splashed with water, a verbal command triggered the self-cleaning module, instantly clearing the view.
- Under intense lighting and violent shaking, the camera feed remained remarkably stable — with no rolling shutter distortion or video blur.
These live demos quickly became one of the busiest attractions at the show. Many port operators stopped to record videos, and several even asked to take units back for on-site testing immediately.
A European port executive commented:
“This is clearly not a product designed inside a lab. It’s designed for exactly the problems we face every day at our terminals.”

Supporting the Global Shift Toward Remote & Autonomous Port Operations
With extensive deployment experience across terminals worldwide, BroadVision showcased how its outdoor heavy-duty cameras provide the sensory foundation for remote operations, crane automation and AI-assisted driving.
Through real project case displays and interactive hardware demos, visitors could clearly see how BroadVision’s solutions deliver:
- Rock-solid image stability under strong vibration
- Low-latency visual feedback required for remote operations
- High-impact resistance and long-term durability
- Customised vision modules tailored for STS, RTG, RMG, reach stackers, forklifts and yard equipment
Many attendees described the system as offering “visible efficiency gains” — a phrase echoed repeatedly throughout the exhibition hall.
BroadVision’s Vision: Reliable Sensing for the Ports of the Future
BroadVision Founder & Chairman Nanhai Wu attended TOC Asia in person and met with port operators, technology partners and equipment manufacturers from around the world.
He shared:
“The core of smart port transformation is reliable perception. Our mission is to help global terminals overcome the visual challenges of harsh outdoor heavy-industry environments — enabling safer, greener and more efficient operations.”
With deployments already spanning more than 200 domestic and international port projects, BroadVision continues to expand its global footprint and accelerate collaborations throughout the Asia–Pacific, Middle East, Europe and Latin America.
